It is important to emphasise that the insurance price is the same in both cases.

Answer: The General Conditions to every Policy are an important and integral part! Without them the Policy has no value, because such are the so called “rules of the game”. So it is necessary for every client to be well acquainted with what they contain!

Answer: A “Bilateral Statement of ascertainment” can be filled in only in cases when:
  • There are no injured persons
  • Neither vehicle has been immobilised
  • Both drivers agree on whose the guilt for the accident is
  • Both vehicles have Bulgarian registrations

Answer: Depending on the year of manufacturing, the premium paid or the additional agreements, each partial damage can be indemnified in one of the following ways:

  • Repair in the official service station
  • Repair in an authorized service station
  • Payment upon a submitted invoice
  • Payment according to an expert’s appraisal

Answer: The “Third party liability” insurance has a limited cover which includes material and non-material damages caused by the driver of the motor vehicle to third parties, whereas “Comprehensive liability” insurance cover only damages to the vehicle itself irrespective of who inflicted them.

Answer: The terms are different depending on the type of insurance event:
  • In case of “theft”, “unlawful taking through force” and “fire”, it is necessary to call the hotlines of the Insurer immediately and give a written notice within 24 hours
  • In case of a Road Accident the terms of notice are up to 3 working days, which is different with different insurance companies.

Answer: A change in the data of the insured object is information of essential character for the Insurance companies! This makes it necessary to notify them about any change within the specified terms, because otherwise the cover of the insurance can be denied either partially or fully.

Answer: This is very useful, because the health card covers only urgent medical conditions, whereas the medical assistance insurance abroad has much higher limits of indemnifications. It is however necessary to put stress on the fact that the cover of this insurance include accidents and diseases whose cause does not precede the time of departure. These insurances are rather attractive in terms of the price-cover ratio and are completely voluntary.
